State Support Teams support building, district and community schools that are implementing OIP and districts that are engaged in the OIP and need assistance with the State Performance Plan (SPP) and Annual Performance Report (APR) analysis.
State Support Teams provide high-quality professional development and technical assistance to district leadership teams (DLT) and building leadership teams (BLTs) on research-based practices to address the academic and behavioral needs of students with disabilities and those at risk.
State Support Teams collaborate with the Ohio Department of Education, Office for Exceptional Children, in the delivery of technical assistance and professional development to support effective postsecondary transition services for youth with disabilities and the Ohio Longitudinal Transition Survey (OLTS).
State Support Teams collaborate with the Ohio Center for Autism and Low incidence (OCALI) to identify regional needs and coordinate the provision of technical assistance and professional development related to assistive technology, universal design for learning, and the educational and behavioral needs of children and youth with autism and other low incidence disabilities.
