Call For Presenters Submissions Due September 9, 2022

With a shared vision for building the capacity of those who lead, teach and serve students in Ohio’s schools and beyond, Ohio Leadership Advisory Council (OLAC) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) are excited to continue our partnership with the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio PBIS Network to host the 2022 OLAC and PBIS Showcase.

This one-day, virtual conference is designed to share powerful examples about how district, building, and teacher-based teams (TBTs, BLTs and DLTs) are working together to impact all learners AND showcase Ohio’s schools implementing PBIS with high fidelity.

For the past two years, thousands of Ohio superintendents, principals, teachers, counselors and others have participated in this FREE professional learning event.

New Format This Year—30+30

This year, OLAC and PBIS are excited to offer a flexible learning experience with more live and on-demand learning options, and additional opportunities for presenters and attendees to engage in real time.

This year’s conference will feature three live keynote speakers and 20 on-demand, pre-recorded learnings sessions from Ohio districts, schools and organizations. Each on-demand session will be 30 minutes and each presentation team will have a designated time slot on December 6 to host a live Zoom Q&A session regarding their presentation.

OLAC and PBIS are Looking for Dynamic Presenters: Submit to Present by September 9, 2022

This year’s event theme is All in For Ohio’s Schools, Students & Communities, and OLAC and PBIS are seeking presentation teams to share their stories about the work of their TBTs, BLTs, DLTs and PBIS Leadership Teams and the impact of this work on all learners—students and adults. Content will be organized around three strands:

  • Leading, learning and connecting in all learning environments
  • Supporting the whole child, including trauma-sensitive practices and student well-being
  • Ensuring equitable learning opportunities
