The Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center at The Ohio State University is looking for parents and caregivers to join our Advisory Council for 2024. Our goal is for family representatives to reflect the diversity of Ohio’s student population. Only parents/caregivers of non-educator/administrator children, birth to grade 12, in the public school system should apply. The State Advisory Council meets virtually four times a year for about three hours. Applications can be found on the State Advisory Council Website. The last date to apply is November 30, 2023.
About the Council:
- Comprised of over 60 members, with more than half being parents and caregivers
- Inclusive of Ohio educators and representatives of organizations interested in family engagement
- Members contribute valuable insights which guide the Center’s work
