PD Opportunity: The Reframing Academy

The Ohio State University’s Center on Education and Training for Employment is offering a free course for family engagement leaders at the building, district, regional, or state level who want to communicate differently to help improve understanding of school and community engagement. The course will be delivered in 3 learning blocks through a flipped instructional model. For each block, participants will first individually complete a set of online modules to build their background knowledge. Then, participants will join a synchronous online community of practice session to apply their knowledge in professional contexts. The process will repeat for the next two learning blocks. The Reframing Academy was specifically designed for the Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center by National Association for Family, School and Community Engagement (NAFSCE).

Full participation in the course is required to receive a certificate of completion. This means you must complete modules on time and fully attend a Community of Practice for each Learning block.

Modules must be completed by 11:59 PM EST on the final day of the self-paced window to receive access to the Community of Practice.
