Ohio’s Third Grade Reading Guarantee is a program to identify students from kindergarten through third grade, who are reading below grade level, and provide them with continued support throughout their K-12 academic career until they are reading proficiently. The Third Grade Reading Guarantee focuses on the development of individualized reading plans, the use of high-quality instructional materials, and targeted interventions.
