Family and Community Engagement

Student success depends upon schools, families, and community partners working together to provide opportunities for children and youth to learn, grow, and prepare for their future. State Support Team 1 consultants are available to help districts and schools embed family engagement strategies into their school improvement efforts. Our team also supports families as they navigate the laws and policies related to serving students with disabilities.

As a part of the Statewide System of Support, State Support Teams work closely with the Ohio Department of Education to provide training, resources, and technical assistance to schools and districts as they strive to ensure that each child has access to a high-quality education.
