Audience –  Curriculum Leaders, Internal Facilitators, Building Principals, Superintendents, Special Education Leaders, Building Leadership Team (It is strongly recommended to register and attend as a team. Those in the district who are decision makers and influencers are highly encouraged to participate. Individuals may attend with our without an administrator)

In this five part series participants will learn best practices to support district and school improvement to increase student outcomes. Each session will focus on tools and practices to strengthen the current system and provide takeaways that can be easily implemented with BLT and DLT collaborative teams. Topics may include but are not limited to the following:

Session 1: Supporting Implementation through the use of visioning, non-negotiables, implementation science, collaborative teaming, and shared leadership

Session 2: Identifying Critical Needs through the use of cause and effect data, data calendars, and root cause analysis

Session 3: Research and select Evidence Based Strategies through the use of resources from John Hattie and Brandon Dubeck, visible learning, job embedded professional learning during teacher based team meetings

Session 4: Plan for implementation through the use of teacher clarity, prioritizing standards, rigor matrices, Ohio Content Standards Extended with Learning Progressions, Blue Prints, high quality tier 1 instruction and graduation pathways

Session 5: Implement and monitor through the use of developing look-fors, conducting learning walks, gathering data and adult practices and providing feedback to coach teaching and learning.
