The One Needs Assessment is a comprehensive district needs assessment which replaces the Decision Framework as well as the Comprehensive Needs Assessment that was previously found in the CCIP. This computer-based tool is accessed through the Ohio Portal and provides a structure for collaborative teams to reflect on current practices and data to help develop and prioritize district and buildings critical needs.
As a part of the Ohio Department of Education’s ED STEPS process, districts are assigned to one of three cohorts. Organizations that are a part of Cohort 1 will complete the One Needs Assessment and develop a three year plan beginning this school year. This process must be completed by April 30, 2021.
This virtual training will help you and your building team complete the One Needs Assessment. You will build familiarity with the assessment, learn how teams will work together to prioritize critical needs, and prepare for writing the three year plan.
