Audience – EC PBIS Team – Team should include: classroom teacher/intervention specialist, program administrator, someone with behavior experience, someone with coaching experience. These roles are required to be part of the team, however, others can be part of the team and attend as well. If you have questions regarding team members and participation contact Heather Gaskins.
Description – This training is part 3 of a six-part EC PBIS Tier 1 series. This module focuses on identifying how to teach expectations and rules through activities, routines, and environments; using explicit as well as embedded teaching strategies that are engaging, consistent and developmentally appropriate. Participants will develop lesson plans to teach program-wide expectations and rules for behaviors and procedures in all settings; and develop an intentional schedule for teaching program-wide expectations and rules throughout the year.
