Description - This PD builds educators' confidence and capacity to create truly inclusive learning environments where every preschooler can participate, contribute, and grow - especially those with special needs. This book study will provide practical, research-based strategies to create inclusive and supportive learning environments for all children, including those with disabilities. Key areas covered include behavior, emergent literacy, peer relationships, implementing curriculum modifications, using visuals, and addressing challenging behaviors. The course also focuses on collaboration with families and team members.

Participants will receive a free copy of the book Building Blocks for Teaching Preschoolers with Special Needs (Fourth Edition) by: Susan R. Sandall, Ilene S. Schwartz, Gail E. Joseph and Ariane N. Gauvreau and be required to read the assigned chapters between sessions.

This series will run concurrently, one on Mondays and one on Fridays. Once you register you will automatically be registered for all four dates in the series.
