As a part of the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce’s continued commitment to ensuring students catch up and move forward in math, there is an extended opportunity to renew your Zearn license through June 30, 2026, at no cost. District administrators are invited to complete this brief form and share their plans to meet the key implementation commitments essential for the program’s success. Funded schools and districts must establish goals for Zearn Math usage, ensuring dedicated time for Zearn each week, training, and regular student progress monitoring.
Zearn Math has received a “Strong” (Tier 1) rating from Evidence for ESSA — the highest designation from a nationally recognized, independent clearinghouse that evaluates education research to help schools, districts, and states select evidence-based programs. Research from the pilot year of usage found that Ohio students who completed at least three grade-level Zearn Math lessons per week scored significantly higher on Ohio’s State Tests than similarly matched students who did not use Zearn.
More than 500 schools across Ohio are using Zearn Math this school year to help students access and succeed in grade-level math learning. With the Department’s Zearn Math license, all participating schools can schedule live, virtual training from the Zearn team at no cost through Nov. 15, 2025. Schools can take advantage of foundational training to launch and grow successful Zearn implementation as well as advanced training to deepen impact. Contact your Zearn Partner Success team member to schedule training as soon as possible.
