Audience – Curriculum Directors, School Administrators, Building Leadership Teams, Teacher Teams, Individual Teachers

Contact Hours – 1 per session

Ashland Credit – ( 1 college credit – Pending approval)  –  If approved participants would be expected to attend all sessions and will need to complete assignments and readings between sessions. Assignments will include planning lessons using specific evidence based strategies, responding to reflection questions and journaling. Taking this series for college credit is optional.

In this professional learning course, participants will learn about evidence-based strategies that have positive impact on student achievement across subject matter and grade bands. Specific strategies will include, but are not limited to, teacher clarity, feedback, gradual release of responsibility, jigsaw, reciprocal teaching and summarizing.
