Audience – New PBIS team members who have not attended an official two or three day training, in schools that are already implementing a Tier 1 PBIS framework

The purpose of this training is to ensure all educators new to their district or building PBIS team have a foundational knowledge and common understanding of the vocabulary and implementation process as their colleagues who were previously trained. Topics to be covered will include exploring school-wide attitudes regarding behavior, discussing the “why” of PBIS, determining what is already in place for behavior intervention, and choosing next steps. By developing more background knowledge about PBIS, new team members will be better equipped to support implementation in their buildings and districts.
