The Universal Design for Learning framework allows each learner in your classroom to access and engage with the standards being taught. The August 16th face to face session will explore the UDL framework for those who are new to UDL. The following virtual sessions will introduce a specific teaching tool and then provide time for participants to use the critical friends protocol for UDL revisions to the lesson they bring to the zoom session. The face to face session on June 22nd will reflect on each person’s UDL implementation, learn a few more teaching tools, and finish the day with critical friends. Returning participants will broaden their understanding of UDL through the lens of equity, which ensures all students have access to strong effective instructional practices.
After registering you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the links for the virtual sessions.
