New- Attendance Support With Office Hours

Attendance at school matters every day for every student, and there is a strong correlation between attendance and reading on grade level, on-time graduation and future success. The Office of Whole Child Supports now is providing open office hours for anyone with questions about school attendance. Office hours are weekly on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. Additional information and resources can be found on the Department’s Attendance Support website.

Hosted by Ohio’s attendance advisor, each session will begin with a short overview of important, attendance-related vocabulary followed by an open time for participants to ask questions. Questions can relate to truancy, attendance data, tiered interventions, absence intervention plans and everything in between.
